Here’s the opening scene I did for Cautionary tales, unfortunately there’s no video capability here so you cant see this in its high def glory here. I converted it into an animated gif to post here.
Originally I was going to use a live action candle for this scene, but I thought this was more interesting. This was a model of an apple but I did some weird stuff with its texture and made it into the candle. The face painted on this is supposed to look like the jokers face paint from dark knight. The candle flame is a soft body made in maya with glow and the textures hidden, I’m going to be making other changes to the scene, right now its just a rough.
